This is a good start to evaluation task three, but it is incomplete.  Can you please try and post some more over the weekend.  try not to forget to address the set evaluation question and what you are being asked to do.  Thank you.

Evaluation task 2 - The Campaign

Excellent effort and well presented evaluation.  You have clearly considered the marketing mix and placement of your products as a campaign.  I also  like the way you have incorporated the theory into your evaluation ideas and the need to compare with real media products.  There is an area of development that I need to discuss with you - the brand image of the band which is there in teh MV and the CD digipak design but not as consistent with the poster - despite the three posters that you supply.  This could be improved.  I also feel that a stronger evaluation is needed with addressing the set question - perhaps replacing the slide on audience.  The audience is addressed in evaluation task three.  Nonetheless an excellent effort well done.

There are some excellent comments in evaluation of the conventions used in your coursework production.  I feel the strongest evaluation is of the music video.  Your comments need developing further in relation to the CD digipak - please refer to your research and planning of CD digipak design - this will help you develop your points further.  I feel that more is needed in evaluation of the music poster.  In particular, a fully reference to a wider range of media examples would benefit your work.

What you have posted takes evident account of the set design, this is very good in presentation and argument, cold be linked a little more closely to Mise en scene.  At the same time, I feel you could have extended your blogging to shot selection, camera and shot selection.  This would have helped develop your blog and evaluation of shoot day.  Well done nonetheless

An excellent presentation of the CD digipak design and the importance of album covers.  I feel that you could have developed research more into the conventions of Album digipak's and addressed layout and design more closely.  Excellent initial design's into CD covers for your group artist and good consideration to target audience.  It can be developed with more deatiled annnotation of digipak conventions.

This is excellent work - there are evident clear accounts of your planning and research for your music video production day after half term. Your bog is regularly updated in terms of the production process.
 I like the way in which decision making is evident along with reflection and revisions.  Your cast list has been agreed and you need to post this with the shooting schedule. 

There are one or two ways to develop the blog.  First to begin using a wider range of blogging tools - there are lots of well presented images, but use of Flickr or powerpoint will increase the creativity that is shown on your blog.  This way the images used will look more creative with the use of a presentational tool.

Second the valid, detailed and reflective comments that you make need to be developed further with  key media concepts and theoretical ideas;  for example, link the planning to star image,  or how set design and lighting link to mise en scene and/ or what model's of lighting you are using in relation to your set - key, fill, directional, discuss the untensity and colour and what you are trying to represent about your artist. This will help make a more thorough evaluation of your work.  Well done.

Excellent your response is detailed and through and you have been creative with your blogs, I particularly like the use of headings with good layout and design - excellent exploration of logo.  You have a secure knowledge and understanding of who you want your artist to be signed to; perhaps you could link this further by stressing the advantages that your artist has signed to the particular record label. 
Your need to identify your target audience and have to profile them. Develop this with the use of VALS.  Good research into CD covers and you have a wide range of examples, and this would be developed further if you can link the real product to how it will influence your own designs.

There is some excellent work on the blog so far - particular the commentary on the music video and its role in the industry.  Some of the posts for prep, need better presentation, on the brief you need ensure that the text can be read.  In applying theory to your concept a bit more detail is needed to your written work in terms genre/ narrative etc - do go back and review these changes.
